colors fo r m ore m uted tones. I t ’s the rig h t
effect fo r F ra n k ’s m editation practice and
Jane’s dow ntim e, as she cu rls in a ch a ir w ith a
d rin k and surveys h e r garden h a n diw ork.
T h e couple first b u ilt a w h ite -fe n ce d terrace
at one side o f the house, stocking it w ith cushy
fu rn itu re and an elegant ro se -co vere d arch.
SEEING GREEN Jane and Frank Green’s home,

is surrounded
with predominantly green plantings, accented by white and
pastel blooms. A bluestone terrace,
above,
repeats the scheme.
The muted palette creates a soothing atmosphere.
